Beginners Hand Building Classes - Saturday 18th of May. 10am to 1pm

A three hour class that will introduce you to Slab Building.

This Class is an all inclusive cost that comprises of making 3 items. A Coffee Mug, Ceraeal Bowl and Side Plate. Once you have finished your masterpieces each one will be  trimmed, glazed in white and fired ready for you to pick up within approx 4 weeks. Postage is also an option at an extra cost.

* Please arrive at least half an hour early to give you time to settle in and meet everyone.

* Email any cancelations or changes no later than 1 week before class date for a full refund or alternatively you can change to another available date.

Liability Waiver

All students must agree to the following upon registering for a class or workshop at By The Bay Ceramics:

Waivers and Safety for Ceramic Classes and Studio Use

1. Students will follow all instructions by teacher
2. Students will not load, unload or operate the kilns
3. Long hair should be tied back
4. Do not wear articles of clothing or jewellery that hang off the body.
5. Closed footwear is required.
6. Do not use any equipment without a staff member present.
7. By The Bay Ceramics will provide safety glasses or gloves upon request.
8. All completed work must be picked up from By The Bay Ceramics no later than 4 weeks after the student’s final class. By The Bay Ceramics is not responsible for any work left longer than 4 weeks. It is the student’s responsibility to pick up their work.

In connection with my involvement in ceramic classes at By The Bay Ceramics, I hereby release By The Bay Ceramics, its agents, representatives, successors, or assignees, By The Bay Ceramics management and employees, from all liabilities, actions, claims, damages, demands, costs, and expenses which I am now or in the future have against them, arising out of or in any way connected with my participation in art classes, including travel to or from the program or its related events. I understand that the waiver includes, but is not limited to, all injuries to me and or loss of injuries to any personal property. I also understand that this waiver includes, but is not limited to, any claims that are based on my alleged negligence or any other action or inaction of any of the above parties.

I also give By The Bay Ceramic permission to publish in print, electronic, or video format the likeness or image of myself and/or my work for the general promotion of By The Bay Ceramics and its programs.

By enrolling in a class or workshop, I am acknowledging that I have read and understand the safety instructions and the liability waiver that have been outlined.
